Learn how to use Assistant Permission Groups to restrict who is allowed to execute an Assistant.
To help ensure only authorized members are completing specific Assistants, you can now restrict access through Assistant Permission Groups. The Assistant Permission Groups feature allows you to define a group of users who can execute specific Assistants.
To use this feature, you will need to do the following:Create an Assistant Permission Group
To create an Assistant Permission Group:
- Navigate to the lab with the Assistant that needs to be restricted
- Go to the Settings page and go to the section "Assistant Permission Group" and click "+ Add Group" to add a new group
- Name the group as you desire, select the team members who should be added to the group, and click > to add them. Click save to save changes.
Assign the group to an Assistant
- Go to the list of your Assistants from your Home page
- Next to the relevant Assistant, click ... and "Set Permissions"
- Select the group required
If you do not have permissions to run the Assistant, you will not be able to open the Assistant or mark it complete.
